If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, you may have heard about the crazy coincidence of us ending up at The Mansion at MGM for our anniversary trip.  If you didn't catch the story, here is a quick recap:

My wonderful husband originally booked us a Villa at the Mirage to stay Sunday - Wednesday (think private houses with your own heated plunge pool). Well, the Mirage called us about 6 days before our trip saying they were closing the hotel for those exact days going forward until business picks up again. The gentleman who works for Mirage offered to "call in a favor or two" to fix the problem... and boy, did he make it right. He gave us the choice of a Sky Suite at Aria or a room at The Mansion at MGM. He said we'd be NUTS to not go with The Mansion as it is invite only (and after finding out the cost of a room here a night along with the amenities, we decided this was a once-in-a-lifetime type of pure luck deal).

So THAT is how we ended up in the most ridiculous hotel room/stay EVER. Y'all. We felt like total imposters in this place. Fancy is an understatement. While we do like nice things and good meals and travel often, this was NEXT LEVEL. It was hard to imagine people live like that on a regular basis. I did a complete tour of the room via my Instagram stories which you can now find thru the saved highlight reel "Las Vegas" here: https://www.instagram.com/dressed.in.delight/

*just fast forward thru the first handful of videos from our trip last November*

Also (men will think this is the coolest thing ever), you got your own driver + butler every day of your stay. For daytime, you got a limo... for night, you got a Rolls Royce Phantom (pictured above).

Before your stay, the butler asks what you would like in your room each day. Y'all. I requested my fave of course, White Claw (Jack was like babe, really?? lol), along with a bottle of vodka. Each morning they brought a fresh chilled bucked of claws (every flavor but lime because it is my least favorite) and fresh mixers + limes and things for the vodka. And there was unlimited room service as well. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in our room which is something we had never done in Vegas before.

Now, on to the FOOD and SIGHTS and OUTFITS! On our first night, we ate at Yellowtail at Bellagio. It was our first time there (everything we did+ate on this trip was firsts!) and it was so great. You HAVE to get the Bigeye Tuna Pizza. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I wore a $16 Amazon bodysuit (added a black bra underneath) with jeans and a fabulous new fur jacket I snagged at 7 for All Mankind while shopping at The Venetian earlier that day.

This tub you guys. And the bathroom in general. I took a "swim" in here every single morning + night before dinner. It totally reminded me of the bathroom in Pretty Woman, haha. You know, "bigger than the Blue Banana!" There was a TV set in the wall, a towel warmer, jets, and a steam shower. And the toiletries smelled AMAZING.

My husband had this robe custom made for me for our 14 year "gold" (or ivory) anniversary. If you know me and my love of robes, you KNOW what a good & thoughtful gift this is. Speaking of thoughtful, he also had yellow roses from Venus le Fleur sent to our room before our arrival. I nearly cried.

Below was our "living/media room" at The Mansion.

How freaking pretty+amazing is this room you guys? We spent one of the nights in this cozy space ordering room service and watching a movie.

The next morning we went and checked out Seven Magic Mountains. Have you heard of it? It is a crazy cool + happy massive art display out in the desert, maybe about 25 min or so from the strip.

Later that day, we went back to The Mansion to swim in the heated pool + enjoy some cocktails where we had the whole place to ourselves.

One the 3rd day, we had some local friends over to our room for lunch and chatted it up a bit. Then Jack and I headed out to do a "romantic" gondola ride at the Venetian, haha. It was super cheesy, but man we had fun.

I wore this "Hello Honey" jacket from Shop Nothing but Country (OBSESSED) and paired it with a simple tee + ribbed midi skirt from Free People.

On our last night, we had dinner at Prime in Bellagio. It was such a beautiful restaurant that overlooked the fountains, perfect for our official anniversary meal. If you love oysters, they were wonderful. And obviously you can't go wrong with a steak here. We loved every single thing that we ordered! I'd say the atmosphere & views were what made this steakhouse stand out from so many others.

It was such a fun + unique trip you guys! I'd cut off my useless pinky toe to live every single moment all over again. Truly, once in a lifetime memories.

Funny end note: the master toilet might've been the coolest part. (insert all the cry laughing emojis here lol!) An auto-lift lid when you walk up, heated seat, push button flush, push button seat lift for the men... like who needs a commode like that?! Haha!
